Lori came to Glory House through Outreach after she was living in a van being driven through the city by her trafficker who was transporting her from site to site. Her phone was also being used for “Back Page.” The trafficker would watch her in the van and after “performing” she was given drugs, just enough to maintain his hold on her. She was beaten by him if she didn’t make enough money.
Lori sought help at a soup kitchen and was rescued through a back door and brought to Glory House. After being clean for three months and doing very well, the trafficker, who had been trying to find her the entire time, had found her while she was heading to a therapy session. He had given her a “hit” of drugs which resulted in her voluntarily leaving Glory House.
Since returning to her trafficker, Lori has been seen recently working the streets. Once again in bondage of her trafficker, the drugs and the life she once escaped from.
